Dr Amanda Easey qualified as a solicitor in 2005 in the London Office of McDermott, Will & Emery. Amanda is a dispute resolution specialist. She has advised on claims before the Patents Court of the High Court of England and Wales and the Court of Appeal. She has particular experience of pharmaceutical patent litigation and cases involving multiple European jurisdictions.
Amanda initially trained and qualified as a doctor. She practised for four years at a hospital within the UK’s National Health Service in London, gaining experience of a variety of medical specialties. She completed her medical training at Oxford University and Imperial College, London and has research experience in the fields of electrophysiology and virology.
Since qualifying as a lawyer, in addition to her pharmaceutical caseload, she has had experience of a broad range of other intellectual property related matters, covering litigation, commercial agreements and IP licensing (non-contentious) work. She has also advised on matters concerning trade mark infringement and data protection issues. |
